The women on boards indicator has improved between 2019 and 2020, reflecting a positive movement towards achieving Egypt’s vision 2030 and SDG goals. However, only 13 percent of board members in Egypt are female, compared to an average of 25 percent in Africa, and 17 percent globally. What are other latest figures telling us about women’s participation in the economy, as well as business leadership?
